Funny enough, I recently had an argument with a climate skeptic on Medium and I essentially made very similar points at the end of my argument albeit framed in a different way. I essentially said look at all these amazing things we can achieve, such as reducing air pollution, even if all the climate scientists are wrong and we don’t have to worry about climate change.

And then I asked, but what if you’re wrong? (Unfortunately, he never responded.)
