Some of those statistics are almost unfathomable and I worry very much about the impact all the plastic pollution will have on marine wildlife in the coming years, especially with the compounding effects of ocean acidification and warming waters. One thing I would be weary of when choosing sources in the future is using well-known, extremely biased sources like CEI who are funded by corporations to spew out anti-regulation rhetoric that only benefits their donors.
