Conspiracies among climate scientists aside, the impact of humans on the environment is obvious and you can see it with your own eyes these days (unless you live in a bubble), so you don’t even need scholarly articles to confirm what most of us already know. If this graph from the Mauna Loa Observatory doesn’t convince you of the dire impact humans are having by drastically increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere (and you understand the heating effect of CO2 as a greenhouse gas), then nothing will.
And here’s a fun fact: The last time CO2 levels were this high was over 5 million years ago when sea levels were over 120 feet higher than today.
You don’t even need climate modeling to understand what might happen in the future if we don’t turn our act around quickly, all you have to do is look to the ancient past before humans were around, which I suggest you study further rather than ridiculous conspiracy theories about climate scientists (who have worked their entire lives studying this stuff).
